Qualification
To be eligible for the post of Jail Prahari (Prison Warder) under the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB), candidates must fulfill the following educational and skill requirements:
📌 Educational Qualification
The applicant must have passed 10th Class (Secondary/Matriculation) from a recognized Board/Institution.
📌 Additional Skills / Requirements
Candidates must have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.
Candidates must also have basic knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture.
Salary – ECL Clerk Grade III
Salary Structure
Pay Matrix Level: Level – 4
Basic Pay: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 per month
Grade Pay: As per Rajasthan government norms
In-Hand Salary (Approx.)
Starting in-hand salary: ₹29,000 – ₹34,000 per month (including allowances)
- Salary increases with annual increments and promotions.
Selection Process – ECL Clerk Grade III
Written Examination (CBT/OMR Based)
Objective-type questions
Subjects include: General Knowledge, Reasoning, General Hindi, General Science, and Rajasthan GK
Each correct answer carries marks (negative marking may apply as per rules)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates qualifying the written exam will be called for PET/PST.
Tests include running, long jump, high jump, and chest/height measurements.
Candidates must meet the minimum physical standards set by RSMSSB.
Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates need to produce original documents (educational, caste, domicile, identity proof, etc.).
Failure to provide valid documents will lead to disqualification.
Medical Examination
Final shortlisted candidates undergo a medical fitness test.
Only medically fit candidates are considered for final appointment
