Qualification

General Service / Hydro Cadre – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in any discipline with at least 60% marks.

Pilot / NAOO / ATC – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
In addition, candidates must have secured 60% aggregate in both Class 10 and Class 12, and a minimum of 60% marks in English in either Class 10 or Class 12. -
Logistics – One of the following with First Class (60% or above):

BE/B.Tech in any discipline, or

MBA, or

B.Sc, B.Com, or B.Sc (IT) along with a postgraduate diploma in Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Material Management, or

MCA or M.Sc (IT).

Law – LL.B. degree meeting eligibility for enrolment as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961, with minimum 55% marks.
The qualification must be obtained from a college or university recognized by the Bar Council of India. -

Salary
The starting gross monthly salary for a Sub Lieutenant is around ₹1,10,000, which includes applicable allowances.

All officers and cadets are required to be members of the Naval Group Insurance Scheme (NGIS), which provides insurance coverage on a contributory basis as per approved terms.

Applications are screened according to marks scored in the qualifying degree.
