DSSSB TGT Qualification
Educational Qualification (Subject-Specific):
A Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in the concerned subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.
The specific subject must have been studied for at least two years at the graduation level.
Note: The 45% minimum mark rule is often relaxed for Post-Graduates in the subject, SC/ST, or Physically Handicapped categories.
Professional Qualification:
A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
Teacher Eligibility Test (Mandatory):
Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), specifically Paper-II, conducted by CBSE.

DSSSB TGT Selection Process
Written Examination (Tier-I): A Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 200 Marks in 2 hours.
Section A (100 Marks): General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi Language, and English Language.
Section B (100 Marks): Subject concerned + Teaching Methodology/Pedagogy.
Negative Marking: There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Final Selection: Based on merit in the written examination and subsequent Document Verification.
