The selection process consists of five stages:
1. Written Examination
Held on 19 July 2026, consisting of two papers:
Paper I – General Ability & Intelligence

Type: Objective (MCQs)
Language: English & Hindi

Paper II – General Studies, Essay & Comprehension
Marks: 200
Type: Descriptive
Essay: English or Hindi
Comprehension & Precis: English only
Only candidates qualifying Paper I are evaluated for Paper II.
2. Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
PET Standards
For Male Candidates
100 meters race: 16 seconds
800 meters race: 3 min 45 sec
Long Jump: 3.5 meters
Shot Put (7.26 kg): 4.5 meters
For Female Candidates
100 meters race: 18 seconds
800 meters race: 4 min 45 sec
Long Jump: 3.0 meters
Pregnancy guidelines and safety rules are strictly followed for female candidates.
3. InterviewÂ

NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate holders get preference
4. Medical Standards Test
Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards. Appeals are allowed only for medical re-examination.
