Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the Answer Key for the Junior Translator, Hindi Translator, Senior Translator, and Hindi Pradhyapak CHT Recruitment Examination 2025 on its website.
Application Dates: The online registration process was open from 5 June 2024 to 26 June 2024.
Exam Date: The written examination took place on 12 August 2025.
Answer Key: The provisional answer key has now been published and is available for download.
Candidates can check and download their answer key by logging into the SSC portal using their Registration Number, Date of Birth, or Enrollment Number.

Qualification
🔹 SSC JHT (Junior Hindi Translator)
Education: Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English/Hindi as a compulsory subject at graduation level.
OR Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi/English as medium and English/Hindi as compulsory subject at graduation level.
Recognized diploma/certificate in translation (Hindi ↔ English) will also be considered in some cases.
🔹 SSC HT (Hindi Translator)
Education: Same qualification as JHT.
Master’s Degree in Hindi/English OR in any subject with Hindi/English as compulsory subject at the degree level.
Diploma/Certificate in translation is preferred.
🔹 SSC CHT (Chief Hindi Translator / Senior Hindi Translator)
Education: Master’s Degree in Hindi or English (same as above).
Experience: Usually requires 2 years of translation work experience from Hindi to English and vice-versa in government or private organization.
Selection Process
Paper I (Computer-Based Exam)
Objective type test.
Subjects:
General Hindi
General English
Each section checks language understanding and grammar.
Paper II (Descriptive Exam)
Translation from Hindi ↔ English.
Essay writing in Hindi and English.
Tests translation skills and writing ability.
Document Verification (DV)
Shortlisted candidates must show original certificates.
Educational qualification, age proof, caste/category, and experience (for CHT/SHT) are verified.
Final Selection
Based on combined performance in Paper I and Paper II.
Merit list prepared post document verification.

Open the Answer Key Section
On the homepage, find the “Answer Key” tab.
Click on the notification link for SSC JHT/HT/CHT Answer Key.
Login with Details
Enter your Roll Number / Registration ID and Password / Date of Birth.
View Answer Key
The provisional answer key with your responses will appear on the screen.
Download and Save
Click on the Download button to save the PDF.
Take a printout for future reference.
Raise Objections (If Any)
If you find any error, you can challenge the answer key by paying the required fee within the given time.
