Basic Pay: ₹53,600/- per month (on the scale of ₹53,600 – 2645(14) – 90,630 – 2865(4) – 1,02,090)

LIC AAO Selection process
Preliminary Examination (Prelims)
Online objective test.
Subjects: Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language.
English section is qualifying only (marks not counted for ranking).
Candidates who qualify are shortlisted for Mains.
Main Examination (Mains)
Online test with objective + descriptive papers.
Includes subjects: Reasoning, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Insurance & Financial Awareness, Professional Knowledge (for Specialist posts), English (Essay & Letter writing).
Marks of Mains are considered for final merit.
Interview
Candidates shortlisted from Mains are called for a personal interview.
Communication skills, subject knowledge, and overall personality are evaluated.
Medical Examination
Final selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness test before appointment.
